Founded as a family-owned company by Certified Agricultural Engineer, Mehmet Demir in Salihli county of Manisa in 1996, Sardes was known with its special products of high quality in a short time and globalized.

About Sardes

Our founder, Agricultural Engineer Mehmet Demir, combined his knowledge, experience, and vision with the fertile lands of the Aegean, its deep-rooted cultural heritage, and hardworking people, embracing agriculture not merely as a business but as a way of life. Today, Sardes continues its journey with a strong organizational structure, where both family members and industry professionals play an active role in management and operations.

In its early years, our company focused on sun-dried tomato production. With rapid progress, international-standard production practices, and a strong commitment to quality, Sardes soon became one of Turkey’s leading producers and exporters.

Over time, Sardes has expanded its product portfolio to include a wide range of offerings: roasted and pickled peppers, grilled vegetables, preserved products in oil, sauces, salads, bruschetta varieties, stuffed vine leaves, capers, and certified organic products. Today, Sardes is recognized worldwide as a reliable brand. Our products are widely preferred across multiple sectors, ranging from the food industry to restaurants and catering services, retail consumption, and private-label production.

Sardes continuously monitors industry innovations and strives for the highest standards in both production and service. This commitment has been certified by international quality organizations through BRCGS, IFS, and BSCI certifications. Additionally, our company holds EU Organic, TR Organic, USDA Organic, and KOSHER certifications, and has been certified by ECOCERT for organic production since 2005.

Currently, 95% of our production is exported, bringing Sardes products to tables in many countries around the world.
